If you submit personal information with respect to any insurance products featured herein, this information may be used in one or more of the following ways:
PARTIES TO WHOM WE MAY DISCLOSE INFORMATION
We only disclose your personal information as necessary to effect, administer, or enforce your transaction with us, or in conjunction with servicing your insurance policy through insurance carriers or their representatives. Parties we share with may include our group of affiliated insurance underwriting companies, claims representatives, courts and government agencies. We may also disclose information to organizations with whom we have joint marketing agreements or as required or allowed by law.
ON-LINE DATA
When you visit PoliSeek, our web servers will automatically recognized the domain name of the computer being used to access the site, where possible, not your email address.
We collect only the domain name; the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail; aggregate information on what pages consumers visit; and information volunteered by the consumer, such as quote requests, survey information and or site registrations.
Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is information that may be used to identify an individual, including, without limitation, your first and last name, your home or other physical address, your electronic mail address, which Internet address you go to, what browser you are using, and other similar information.
If you have requested information from us using one of our online forms, you have sent us PII. If you wish to have your PII removed from our database, you may contact us and request it to be removed.
We may be required by law to disclose your PII and as a matter of policy PoliSeek cooperates with law enforcement inquiries. We may use information available to us to attempt to identify a user when we are legally compelled to do so or when we feel it is necessary to protect our services, sites, customers, or others.

USE OF COOKIES
PoliSeek utilizes passive tracking mechanisms in the form of session "cookies". When you first visit the PoliSeek web site, a cookie is sent to your computer. Cookies are very small files sent to your hard drive that essentially identify your computer and they are important to assist in the collection of vital data, such as your user preferences when visiting our site. We use cookies to improve the quality of our service to you and to better understand how people interact with us.
Cookies created by PoliSeek are placed on the user's computer and are accessible only by PoliSeek. PoliSeek uses a session cookie to maintain a single login session. Once you logout, and/or close the browser, the session cookie is deleted. We do not use cookies to access personal information. Rather, it is a tool that we use to compile aggregated statistics that we use to enhance our service to you. WEBSITE SECURITY
PoliSeek uses security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide VeriSign 128-bit SSL certificate, firewalls and on computer systems with limited access, which are located in controlled facilities. When we transmit highly confidential information (such as an insurance policy number) over the Internet, we protect it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. We limit internal access to our servers and require that PoliSeek representatives adhere to rigorous standards of ethics and integrity in performing their jobs and conducting business. We restrict access to Nonpublic Personal Information about you to those employees and other parties who must use that information to provide our products or services to you. Their right to further disclose and use the information is limited by our Business Code of Conduct, applicable law, and nondisclosure agreements where appropriate. We also maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in compliance with applicable laws and regulations to guard your Nonpublic Personal Information.

PoliSeek takes reasonable and customary steps to protect your personal information, but we cannot ensure or warrant our ability to do so. You use the PoliSeek web site at your own risk. PoliSeek will not be liable for disclosures of your personal information due to errors in transmission or unauthorized acts of third parties.
For Minnesota Residents
The disclosure of personal information among PoliSeek and affiliates is authorized under the Minnesota Insurance Fair Information Report Act, 72A.502, subdivision 8, which allows for disclosure without written authorization where i) the personal information is used for a limited purpose and ii) the affiliate agrees not to disclose the information for any other purpose or to unaffiliated persons.
For Montana Residents
The disclosure of personal information among PoliSeek and affiliates is authorized under Montanas Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act, MCA 33-19-306 (12)(a) and (b), which allows for disclosure without written authorization where i) the personal information is used in connection with an audit or to enable PoliSeek to perform an insurance function and ii) an appropriate agreement is executed with the affiliate to limit the affiliates use and disclosure of the personal information.
For New Mexico Residents
We may disclose personal information among PoliSeek and affiliates without written authorization pursuant to New Mexicos Privacy Rule, 13.1.2.1 through 13.1.3.23 NMAC. However, any such disclosure will be only to the extent necessary to effect, administer or enforce a transaction that you have requested or authorized.
For North Dakota Residents
NDCC 26.1-02-27 permits PoliSeek to disclose personal information pursuant to NDCC 45-14-01-11, which sets forth North Dakotas rules promulgated in accordance with NAICs Privacy of Consumer Financial and Health Information and allows for disclosure where appropriate opt-out notice and opportunity has been given.
For Vermont Residents
PoliSeek is authorized to disclose personal information under Vermonts Privacy of Consumer Financial and Health Information Regulation Article IV, Sections 14(A), (B) and (C), which provide an exception to the general opt-in rule where PoliSeek executes an appropriate agreement with the third party limiting use and disclosure of such personal information. PoliSeek is further authorized to disclose personal information under Sections 15(A) and (B) which provide an exception to the opt-in requirement where the disclosure of personal information is necessary to affect, administer or enforce a transaction that the consumer authorizes. Our release of personal information is also authorized where permitted by law under Section 16(A).
The effective date of this privacy statement is January 1, 2008.
